TERMS AND CONDITIONS

for Party Patrol Entertainment

Welcome to Party Patrol Entertainment. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a clear understanding of our policies and procedures.

Booking and Payment

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total fee is required at the time of booking to secure your event date. This deposit confirms your reservation and is applied toward the total cost of service.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the event date if paid online via the client portal, or upon the DJ's arrival on the day of the event if paid in cash. Failure to make the final payment as specified may result in the cancellation of services and forfeiture of any payments made.

Changes and Cancellations

  • Alterations: Any changes to the event date, time, or location must be requested in writing at least 30 days before the original event date. Changes are subject to availability and may require a new service contract. If an alternative date is unavailable, the deposit and any payments made may be forfeited.

  • Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event will incur a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the total fee. Cancellations made 14-30 days prior will incur a fee of 75% of the total fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the event will result in a charge of 100% of the total fee.

Client Responsibilities

  • Venue Access: The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue provides suitable access for equipment load-in and load-out, including parking provisions for Solid Sound Miami's vehicle near the event venue.

  • Setup Requirements: A suitable area compliant with size and accessibility requirements must be arranged by the client for DJ and/or photo booth setup. The client is responsible for providing power (110V, 10 amps, 3-prong outlet). Setup requires a minimum of 3 hours prior to the start time.

Equipment and Performance

  • Equipment: Party Patrol Entertainment will provide all necessary equipment for the performance unless otherwise agreed upon. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the venue can accommodate the equipment and that all necessary permissions are obtained.

  • Performance: The DJ agrees to provide a performance that reflects the likeness of the DJ's show as known to Party Patrol Entertainment and as advertised to the client via promotional materials. The DJ will make every effort to ensure their performance is outstanding, adhere to the client's wishes within all reasonableness, and be polite and courteous with the client, their guests, and all venue staff and contractors.

Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability is strictly limited to the cost of hiring our DJ services. We are not responsible for situations beyond our control, such as power outages, extreme weather conditions, or actions by venue staff that interfere with our performance.

  • Insurance: Party Patrol Entertainment carries appropriate liability insurance coverage. However, the client is advised to have their own insurance policies in place for the event.

Miscellaneous

  • Force Majeure: Party Patrol Entertainment shall not be liable for failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, riot, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

  • Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama
